The Rev. William A. Carlsen ("Bill") served as Interim Director since July of 2010. Effective November 1, 2011 he has been appointed Chair of the Foundation Board. Bill is a native of New York State and has been very active in American Baptist mission, serving pastorates in Williamstown, Massachusetts and Rome New York and as the Executive Minister for the ABC of New York State for sixteen years. Additionally, he was Field Counselor for World Mission Support for The American Baptist Churches USA for fifteen years. Bill graduated from Houghton College with majors in Philosophy and Psychology and holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. He is currently President of the Board of Springbrook, Treasurer of the Interim Ministry Program of ABC/USA and is a member of the board and adjunct faculty for Keuka College.

Treasurer and CFO American Baptist Home Mission Society
As Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for the American Baptist Home Mission Society (ABHMS) Michaele sees one of her primary roles in supporting ministry as building and sustaining donor confidence. "Donors who are confident that their gifts will be managed responsibly and ethically are much more inclined to give regularly and liberally," she says. She also served as treasurer for the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society (Mar 2004 – Dec 2006) and assistant treasurer for American Baptist Churches USA (Apr 1998 – Feb 2004). Prior to her ministry with American Baptist she served as an auditor with the commercial division of Arthur Anderson, LLP in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ with a B.S. in accounting. She was licensed as a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant in April 2000. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organization Development at American University, Washington D.C.
Dr. Wright-Riggins is the Executive Director of American Baptist Home Mission Societies.
The Rev. Dr. Reid S. Trulson is the Executive Director of American Baptist International Ministries. A native of Minnesota, Dr. Trulson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis ( B.S.) and Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California (M.Div., D.Min.). During his twenty-three year pastoral ministry, Reid was President of the Wisconsin Baptist State Convention (now ABC of Wisconsin) and a member of the ABC General Board. For eight years he was a member of the International Ministries Board of Directors, serving two terms as its president. In 2006 he became the Executive Director of American Baptist International Ministries with oversight of American Baptist mission work in more than 70 countries.
Rev. Dr. Leo S. Thorne

Associate General Secretary for Mission Resource Development
As associate general secretary for the American Baptist Churches USA, the Reverend Dr. Leo Thorne provides leadership for the department of Mission Resource Development within the Office of the General Secretary. He is chiefly responsible for communicating the vision and mission story of the denomination, developing stewardship resources for local congregations, and assisting the program boards and regions in raising mission support. He also provides training workshops and seminars on fundraising and stewardship development.
Dr.Larry Swain is the President of the Multi-Region Corporation.Dr. Swain answered the call of the American Baptist Churches of Ohio to become the Executive Minister October 1, 2004. His ministry experience includes twenty years of pastoral ministry, promotion of American Baptist missions, leadership training, conflict management, and vision development and congregation transformation. Dr. Swain is currently leading the American Baptist Churches of Ohio in the vision “Rise Up and Build” that seeks to transform churches into healthy missional congregations.
Alyson Stratton is the Treasurer and CFO of American Baptist International Ministries. Prior to joining IM in May of 2008, she worked for the Corporate Accounting Department of West Pharmaceutical Services and had been the Controller for The Kintock Group, Inc. In 1996, she earned her B.S. in Accounting from Widener University, Chester, PA and in 2006 received her MBA also from Widener. Alyson is a CPA, licensed in the state of Maryland.
Dr. Carrico is the Treasurer of the Multi Region Corporation and the Executive Minister of the West Virginia Baptist Convention.

Ken Hines is a First Vice President and has over 20 years of experience providing financial advice and services throughout the United States. Ken's concentration is in the open architecture design of customized investment solutions to address individual financial goals. A primary focus of Ken's practice is individual retirement planning for corporate retirees. Ken holds the prestigious CIMA certification which is an advanced education program developed by the Wharton School of Business as well as that of Wealth Management Advisor (WMA).
