The Rev. Dr. Reid S. Trulson is the Executive Director of American Baptist International Ministries. A native of Minnesota, Dr. Trulson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis ( B.S.) and Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California (M.Div., D.Min.). During his twenty-three year pastoral ministry, Reid was President of the Wisconsin Baptist State Convention (now ABC of Wisconsin) and a member of the ABC General Board. For eight years he was a member of the International Ministries Board of Directors, serving two terms as its president. In 2006 he became the Executive Director of American Baptist International Ministries with oversight of American Baptist mission work in more than 70 countries.
Dr.Larry Swain is the President of the Multi-Region Corporation.Dr. Swain answered the call of the American Baptist Churches of Ohio to become the Executive Minister October 1, 2004. His ministry experience includes twenty years of pastoral ministry, promotion of American Baptist missions, leadership training, conflict management, and vision development and congregation transformation. Dr. Swain is currently leading the American Baptist Churches of Ohio in the vision “Rise Up and Build” that seeks to transform churches into healthy missional congregations.
Rev. Dr. Aidsand F. Wright-Riggins III
Executive Director
American Baptist Home Mission Societies
Since August 1991, the Rev. Dr. Aidsand Wright-Riggins III has served as the Executive Director of American Baptist Home Mission Societies. Additionally, he is Chief Executive Officer of Judson Press, the publishing arm of American Baptist Churches USA. His passion has led American Baptist Home Mission Societies to commitments of encouraging discipleship, engaging in mission and transforming the soul of a nation. He says, "We are to be an incarnate community that affirms that Jesus Christ is Lord. In the midst of our cultural, theological, racial and ethnic diversity, we want to exhibit unity as a household of faith."
Dr. Carrico is the Treasurer of the Multi Region Corporation and the Executive Minister of the West Virginia Baptist Convention.
Larry Greenfield is the Executive Minister of the American Baptist Churches of Metro Chicago. He received his B.A. from American Baptist-related Sioux Falls College and his B.D., M.A., and Ph.D. from American Baptist-founded University of Chicago, where he also was a faculty member and administrator in the University's Divinity School. He later served as president of American Baptist-related Colgate Rochester Divinity School/Bexley Hall/Crozer Theological Seminary/Baptist Missionary Training School. He held pastorates and campus ministries in Chicago and Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is also the Theologian-in-Residents for Protestants for the Common Good and a columnist for EthicsDaily.com.
Marcia Patton is the first Executive Minister of the newest Region in the American Baptist family, Evergreen Association. She previously served the American Baptist Churches of the Northwest and was an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, Salt Lake City, Hatboro Baptist, Hatboro, Pennsylvania and First Baptist Church, Somerville, New Jersey. She earned a Ph.D. at Temple University and has two degrees from Eastern Baptist (now Palmer) Theological Seminary.
I left a university career in response to God’s surprising call to serve as a pastor. I am still surprised by what God does, and count it a privilege to be serving in ministry over 25 years.

The Rev. Joan C. Friesen has been the Executive Minister of ABCGI since November 2009. She previously served as the Director of Church Relations for Redwood Glen (a San Francisco Bay Area Christian Camp and Conference Center) where her husband, Jay Nordgaard, was Executive Director. Before moving to California in August 2000, Joan was Associate Executive Minister for American Baptist Churches of the Northwest with responsibilities in missions, stewardship, and education. She has also served the American Baptist Churches of Oregon as Minister of Camping & Christian Education and in pastoral positions in three American Baptist congregations in Oregon and California.Joan grew up an American Baptist pastor’s kid on the west coast. Joan and Jay are enjoying life in their new hometown and are spending time exploring the Midwest.

Robin Stoops is a graduate of Ottawa University and North American Baptist Seminary. He has served in churches in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and South Dakota.
He is married to Kathy Stoops, together they have three children and six grandchildren. He loves to read, collect electronic gadgets and preach.
I was called as Executive Minister to ABCRM in 2008 after serving five years on the Central Regions Staff and 18 years of pastoral ministry in four American Baptist Congregations. I view myself and my ministry as being called to serve, equip and empower the local churches and their leaders, both lay and professional, who are the Region. I am passionate about local churches living out the Gospel by being present and engaged in mission and ministry in their own communities and taking that lifestyle to other cultures in our Region, our Nation and around the World.

Alan Newton has been Executive Minister of the Rochester/Genesee Region since May 2002. His priority is serving the churches who have called him into this leadership role with a commitment to open and honest communication and timely response to their requests. He is active in the community as a mentor to youth, as a practitioner and trainer of restorative justice practices, and in anti-poverty work.

Arlo grew up in an ABC church in Iowa, went to an ABC-related college and seminary and has served for 40 years in ABC ministries. He has served First Baptist Church-Los Angeles, the American Baptist Assembly/Green Lake Conference Center, First Baptist Church-Anderson, IN and now as Executive Minister in Wisconsin. He has frequently participated in assisting donors realize the goal of supporting their mission or ministry passion.
